The Cleveland Cavaliers are facing a departure that no one could have imagined. After LeBron James signed and traded him for Kevin Love, many thought the Cavaliers were the team to beat in the NBA. Honestly, it doesn’t seem too difficult to beat the team.

After the first four games of the season, the Cavs went to a 1-3 start, although this is not the start the team was considering before the start of the season, but there are things the Cavs can do to be successful after in the season.

Give him time

This year, the Cleveland Cavaliers have a total of ten new faces. This means that there are only five players left on last Season’s List. It is always difficult to attract new players and expect them to do their best immediately. It’s even more difficult when the new players you bring in are the top ten in the League. Bringing in LeBron James and Kevin Love is very different from a team like Houston that brings in someone like Trevor Ariza. Don’t get me wrong, Ariza is a great talent, but he’s not number one on a playoff-caliber team.

That’s why it’s so difficult for the Cavs to navigate the start of the season. LeBron James is obviously the best player on a championship team. Kevin Love is probably the second Option on this Cavaliers team. These guys have never played together, it will be a while before things kick into high gear. They also add someone like Kyrie Irving who, along with Kevin Love, has never had to share the lead role with anyone on the team, let alone two other Superstars.

Of course, it will take time for this team to make the most of its capabilities. Instead of overreacting, I think it’s in everyone’s best interest and to give this team time to figure things out.

Pass the ball

You might think that getting help with the Talent of this training would not be the most difficult thing in the world. I think that’s not the case. Against Jazz, the Cavaliers managed to score four assists during the game. None of these playmakers are helping.LeBron had two, Kevin Love had one, and Dion Waiters also managed to get help. That’s one of the main reasons they lost the Utah game.

LeBron James

Losing to Utah is bad enough, but knowing that you didn’t pass the ball to the best of your ability must be a blow in the gut. I also want to note that Kyrie Irving had four assists against Portland in the first quarter. After that first quarter, the Cavaliers led 34-31. the rest of the game, Kyrie scored an assist, and for the rest of the game, the Cavs failed to reach the 20-point mark in the last three quarters.

It shows how important it is to pass the ball in this league. If your leader cannot distribute the ball to his teammates, it will be difficult to win basketball games. The game against Portland was a perfect example of this.

Playing defense

I think the phrase “defense wins championships” is the most accurate thing that can be said when it comes to Sports. This was proven last year when the San Antonio Spurs beat the Miami Heat in five games. This was even proven in the NFL when the Seattle Seahawks beat the Denver Broncos in the Super Bowl.

In the newly built Big Three in Cleveland, only LeBron James is the only one who can really play defense. Kyrie Irving has poor footwork and vision on defense. Kevin Love offers little or no rim protection. Last season, the Minnesota Timberwolves hit 63.1% of shots in color.

Kyrie and Kevin aren’t the only ones who aren’t the best defensive players. Dion Waiters was forced to take the bench for Shawn Marion due to a lack of defense. Great male riders do not offer rim protection, in fact, a great man does not even lead the team in blocks. It’s early in the season, but I think something needs to be done if Shawn Marion continues to lead the team with one block per game.
